Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer SPF 30

In Chic & Slim Toujours 2, one of the French skincare products now popular in USA I mention is La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer. It won the 2017 Oprah Magazine Beauty Award.

Reasonably priced at $20 for 2.5 Fluid Ounces (75 ml), the Toleriane moisturizer has two versions, one with a broad spectrum SPF 30. I have been using the SPF 30 version for several weeks as my sun protection.

As I have explained previously, my face, even in certain age, is sufficiently oily that my problem is still breakouts, rather than dryness. So I don’t usually use a moisturizer. But since I am outdoors a lot for the garden, I do try to use some sun-protection in addition to my sun hat. Though I should add that because of the heat here at Provence-sur-la-Prairie, I usually confine outdoor activities to before 10 AM and after 4 PM.

My problem with every sun protection product I have tried in the past is that they caused breakouts. I am happy to report that so far I have not had a breakout problem from using the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer with SPF 30.

If you also have the sunscreen breakout problem and have not yet found a sunscreen that doesn’t cause problems for your face, this moisturizer is one you might try. Made in France, it is widely available in many drugstores in the USA, as well as from numerous online vendors such as Dermstore.
